RandyWood.info -- My NEW webpage

The new year of 2011 has brought about new changes and with those changes, I wanted to update my webpage.  People think I am such a nerd to have my own website..... AND I AM!!! hahaha.  I now have a blog here, a blog there, my private blog where I journal online, my facebook, twitter, flickr, youtube, google reader, and a few others I probably can't think of.  Hahaha!  I love it.

Been too long since I've blogged

Hello cyberspace.  It has been way too long since I blogged.  I really do love blogging and I think it is great, but it also takes a ton of time.  I don't know why I get myself so busy.  I always seem to be looking for time to exercise, study the gospel, journal, and blog, but I never find time.  Some things that I have been working on lately include:
  • Law School Applications
    • I have already applied to the University of Utah and University of Washington, but am still working on ASU, USC, University of Minnesota, BYU, and others.
  • Dating the cutest girl!
    • I currently am dating the cutest girl, Anna Storey.  I was set up on a blind date by my good friend Basim Motiwala back in October and have been dating her since.  She's a real cutie and we have loads of fun.

  • New intern at work
    • My friend Morgan Sorensen started working as a marketing intern and we are working on some cool new stuff for SEO, social media, and events for Ivory Homes that will be radical!
    • Here is a sneak peak of a design on a dime competition we are holding via facebook and the web.
    •
Life is full of lots of fun things right now and I am doing my best to stay afloat the many things out there and do not only a lot of good things, but do those things which are best!  Hope 2011 brings more blog posts.

    Sportin' it up in 2010

WOW.... it really has been since March since I posted on my blog!? I thought I was busy while I was in school, but since I started full-time employment last year I feel like I never have a waking moment free! I am so glad that I have such great friends that call and invite me to get outdoors, hit the road, and put my feet to the pavement to bike, run, and hike! I am very grateful for great friends and co-workers who motivate me to stay fit and active!!

Ivory Homes gents running the Wasatch Back

It has been such a fun year thus far of extreme sports, the Wasatch Back - Ragnar Relay, 100+ mile bike trip down to Moab, and I am looking forward to doing lots more! Other things that I have on deck to do are a fun trip to Bear Lake, a week in Lake Powell, hiking near Yosemite National Park, and who knows what else.

Enjoy some pics of what I have been up to lately below:

    Nerd Merit Badges

Okay I read about this merit badge for nerds is called "Inbox Zero," and requires an empty inbox 71.4% of the time. I would SOOO have this. My biggest electronic pet peeve is to have unread emails in any of my inboxes, so I am constantly reading my work email and 2 gmail address to make sure they are all at zero. I guess the other available badges include Family Tech Support, Being Boinged, Spelling Homonyms, and more. ---> all of which I would have!

1.5″, fully embroidered, Velcro-backed. Attach to your jacket, your backpack, or the lid of your over-clocked, battle-scarred laptop. Start a nerd sash!! WHO IS WITH ME?
